Condition: Excellent-Mint
Corners look sharp with no visible fraying; edges clean; surface glossy with no creases or scratches visible in scan. Front centering is slightly left/top-heavy but well within normal for 1989 Bowman. The oversized (tall/narrow) 1989 Bowman format shows the usual soft cut edges. Back is the standard salmon/red stock, clean and legible, with minor print mottling typical of the set. Main condition factor: a heavy black ink signature ("Brian Holton") written across the jersey on the front — if that is a hand-applied autograph rather than a printed element, it is ink on the image area, which most graders treat as an alteration for raw base-card grading purposes. Scans can hide light surface wear, so graded conservatively.
